Real Proof Of Life – When Friends Meet

I was so pleased to get a message through Twitter from my friend @dzakyem to say he was off on his travels to Japan to visit another mutual online buddy.

@MartinKoss Paying a visit to @yickth and his wife…

You see – we are real people after all!

I first met Dzakye and Eric on Phreadz some months ago and, like several people I met on the new social video platform developed by @kosso, I find them both very interesting and it’s only a case of ‘not enough hours in a day’ that prevents me from chatting to them as often as I would like to.

But it is solid evidence that we are human and real human connections can and do evolve out of what starts as a purely ‘virtual’ connection.

This is not business folks – this is two new friends, real friends

Yes, this is a real person to person friendship that was born and developed via online chat, video blogging, random photos and updates across multiple channels that has, ultimately, resulted in two people coming together.

I can just imaging the hours and hours of chats about the world, about life, about family, travel, worldly experiences, and – I would expect – Eric and Dzakye will find solutions to all the world’s problems!

I love it when people connect and wanted to share this little story to demonstrate what I rant on about very often about “being real”, “being human”. There are many stories just like this where people formed a connection – not through business – that evolved into real friendship.
